We began a study in Philippians for Wednesday Nights last night. So as I was reading and studying I was struck with this thought. Paul finds himself again in prison. He seems to spend a lot of time there doesn;t he? Anyway in that prison moment he writes to the church in Philippi where the church was birthed out of a prison miracle. (Acts 16) Remember Paul and Silas turn there cell into a worship time and then there is an earthquake and eventually the jailor gets saved along with his household. Now many year later Paul reflects on this and I thing turns a corner to see that God uses Prison moments for His triumph!
So question… what are your prison moments? Life is full of those moments but if we can turn them to worship times, we turn the moment into a focus on the Eternal God who will lead us into His triumph. Just a thought!
